Simple Truth 1

One of the most commonly used justification for mandated vaccinations for covid, is that vaccinations are required in life all the time, especially for school children. This is simply not true. There is no Federal law mandating that children be vaccinated in order to attend school. From the CDC website:

State laws establish vaccination requirements for school children. These laws often apply not only to children attending public schools but also to those attending private schools and day care facilities. All states provide medical exemptions, and some state laws also offer exemptions for religious and/or philosophical reasons. State laws also establish mechanisms for enforcement of school vaccination requirements and exemptions.

The key here are the words state laws, it is the states which are in charge of the requirements and exemptions. Do states have exemptions for vaccination? They most certainly do.

As you can see ALL state have exemptions from being vaccinated. In most states it is quite easy for a parent to have his child exempted from being vaccinated. As of 2019, 2.5% of school age children were exempted from vaccinations, but the number of children who are not vaccinated without exemptions doubles that number. So to say that a child must be vaccinated to attend school is simply not true. Since vaccinations started millions of children have and still do attend school without being vaccinated. But the larger point is this, the Federal government is not, or has never previously been, the controlling entity when it comes to determining vaccination policy, " State laws also establish mechanisms for enforcement of school vaccination requirements and exemptions. "

I am very much in favor of vaccinations, they have been tremendously beneficial to mankind. Diseases such as polio and small pox which have been the scourge of man for millenniums have been almost eradicated by vaccinations, but never have I been asked to show my smallpox vaccination record in order to be employed, or fly on an airplane. I was not asked for a vaccination record to obtain my passport, yet now in New York, people are required to show a covid vaccination record to enter a bar. Or to be employed by the state, or be a policeman, fireman or healthcare worker. All this for a virus that has a survival rate of over 99% and a vaccine that neither immunizes or keeps you from passing it onto others. Another point about those deadly diseases which we, for the most part, willingly and gratefully take vaccines to protect ourselves from, unlike the covid virus they cannot be carried by other mammals. Not so covid which can find a host in numerous other animals, ensuring that the virus, in some form, can never truly be eliminated.

This vaccine program as it is being abused is not about health, it is about power and money, plain and simple. The fact that the national government is superseding and abusing its authority is not only wrong, it should be terrifying to every freedom loving person. I hope there are enough of us left.

Back when I first became interested in global warming (climate change) early on I realized that little things are important no matter how big the problem appears to be. This was driven home by a man named Anthony Watts who is now widely known for his excellent web site Watts Up With That.

Initially his web site was created for a simple but what turned out to be a very important purpose. He sought to record and determine how the placement and design of weather stations which monitor temperature, were skewing the global warming debate. After all a thermometer that took a reading in 1940 Houston would naturally, due to urbanization, read higher in 2020. Airports were a particular problem since over the decades they have become far more massive, with more and larger concrete runways, again skewing the temperature readings. As it turns out, most of temperature recording locations were deeply flawed, resulting in a misrepresentation of global temperature increases.

From the CDC Website

When You Are Fully Vaccinated. People are considered fully vaccinated: 2 weeks after their second shot in a 2-dose series, like the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or; 2 weeks after a single-shot vaccine, like Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine; COVID-19 vaccines are not interchangeable.

According to the CDC from the time a person receives their first dose until two weeks after their second dose (five weeks) a person is considered unvaccinated.

Let's begin with the simplest aspect of this definition, how it affects data. We know that back in May the CDC decided only to keep data on "break through" cases which resulted in hospitalization or death. In other words data is being kept only on people who were fully vaccinated and end up hospitalized and/or die. There is no record of how many people have been vaccinated and came down with it later. Seems important.

Due to this definition of fully vaccinated and reporting restrictions, if a person contracts covid in those five weeks after their first "jab" they would not be considered vaccinated. If they are hospitalized for covid or for any other reason, they are not considered vaccinated. If a person dies from covid, or any other reason, they are not considered vaccinated during that five week period. A person could get their second dose today, be hospitalized for it next week and die the week after and they would be counted as being unvaccinated and not a "break through" case. This strange definition of fully vaccinated and the even stranger way the CDC has determined to collect the data, intentional or not, brings into question the "true" numbers when it comes to the hospitalization and deaths of vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

This is just how the "fully vaccinated" determination affects the data, it may or may not be a major issue, we don't know, we should know. But there has to be a reason why the more people are vaccinated the greater the surge in cases and deaths becomes. The other reasons are extremely scary so few people are willing to voice them, and neither will I. But the fact that this is not a sterilized vaccine, meaning that a person who receives it can infect others, is in itself a very good starting point.

On September 10, 2020 the seven day moving average for covid cases in Denmark was 222 in 2022 that seven day average is now 520. The seven day moving average for deaths was one, it is now three. What has the small nation done to confront this dramatic increase in cases and three fold increase in deaths?

Government officials lifted the remaining restrictions Friday, including the requirement that people show proof of vaccination through a vaccine passport to enter nightclubs.

Why, you might ask would they do this when data shows that cases and deaths are on the rise? Well it might have something to do with this.

Israel has been one of the most aggressive nations in the world in combating covid. It locked down early and hard, it masked up and distanced, it was way ahead of everyone on vaccinations, and has already begun the booster program. Sweden, Denmark's' neighbor, from the beginning and with much derision from the global public health community went for herd immunity. They did enact limited restrictions to protect the vulnerable but there never were any lockdowns or masks. Sweden, for the most part, let the virus run its course.

Now that we know that a vaccinated person can be infected and also transmit the virus, the road to herd immunity, if even possible, is a very long one. Since natural immunity through contracting the disease almost certainly precludes transmission and immunity for a longer period of time if not permanently it is probably the fastest way to slow down the spread.

Of course with natural immunity you don't need boosters to "pump up" your immune system to fight off the virus. There is the possibility that boosters help achieve more permanent immunity against the virus but the vaccine, for all the hype, has not worked as sold to us thus far. I for one am not hopeful that it will do much more than provide temporary protection and line pockets.

So let's mask up and jab the kids and get them used to relying on government vaccines to protect themselves from a virus that does them no discernable harm. Or we could, like Denmark, tip your hat to big pharma then call it a day and move on.
