Over the weekend a large gathering of "demonstrators" gathered in front of the US Postmaster General's home to protest that the postal service is being used to hinder voting by mail. The protesters gathered in person to demonstrate because they don't want to vote in
person.
Among the leftist's new over the top conspiracy theories is that the US Postal Service is removing post boxes. You know those blue boxes that, you leave your house to go mail something, instead of the personal mail box that everyone in the United States with a residence has conveniently at their disposal in front of their house or apartment.
The problem with universal mail in elections, which is not the same as absentee voting, is not getting the ballot to and from the voter, it is who gets the ballot and how it is verified and counted.
There is a meme going around that states : if you won the lottery would you mail in the ticket or would you hand deliver it. Most people say hand deliver it. But in the same note, if the state delivered a blank lottery ticket to everyone, how many will fill in the numbers and toss it in the mail? Even if you found the ticket on the street or the trash....... This mail in voting is a diminishment of individual responsibility and a brinks truck exploding on mainstreet and expecting 100% of the people to do the correct thing! Not going to happen!
